Merry Christmas

It's December 25th and this has been on of the best Christmas's ever! I got my class ring, and lots of other stuff that I had been wanting, and some stuff that I hadn't even asked for. I hope everyone had a great Christmas as well. And Nikki, I hope your stupid boyfriend called you :)

As I was thinking about the fact that this time next week will be 2010, I started thinking about things that I want to happen next year and things I realized that made me grow in 2009. Things like how next year I want to take more chances with things, not bad stuff but stuff that could be great for me if I will just take the chance. Well that is just a little look into my new year's resolutions. I promise there will be many more in the week to come. For now, I am enjoying my Christmas Break and the fact that I don't have to get up really early for a whole other week! And all day today I got to pig out on great food that my family cooked, and my family is pretty good cooks if I do say so myself. Now I just have to go work all the food off, but That shouldn't be too bad, hopefully. I got some great new CD's like the Owl City CD and Carrie Underwood's new one. So I'm gonna go listen to them and relax. I will talk to you people later :)

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas My True Love Gave To Me :)

So I've been in a great Christmas mood lately, listening to Chirstmas music, watching Christmas clasics on T.V. and laying around the house not doing anything at all :) Well except my all state audition this morning. Which I hope I did well on. I messed up a couple of my scales but i think i didn't screw up compleatly. On the way from my car to the building for the audition I fell. It was an amazingly graceful fall, which was the only good thing about it. I happened to land on my bad knee. I hope it didn't get any more messed up.

I'm so excited for church tomorrow, I don't know why but I can tell it will be a great day. Maybe because we only have one week of school left this semester, and three of the days are half days. Very exciting if I do say so myself. WHOO!!! But for now I am going to sleep so I can get up for church tomorrow. I'll try to put up more of my edited pictures tomorrow, because believe me, I made many a picture today. A new personal record of 6 in about 2 hours.

That means today is very cold, in german :) and it is verrrryyyy cold today. funny thing is my brother is going camping with his boyscout troup tonight, I think he is crazy. This has been a great week. Thankful for one more week of school before winter break! So exciting, because during winter break is chirstmas, and I get my class ring for Christmas!!! AHH!! sorry, I'm a tad excited. The bad part of it being Chirstmas time is that trafic is awful everywhere you go, no matter what time, so that is why I am at home on a Friday night. :-/ but I'll live. Today in german we had our spoken final, and Frau had to ask me the hardest questions she asked all day, but it was ok, I did good and got a 100%

My Heart Was Racing Like Two Cars

Wow it's been over a week, sorry. but I've been pretty busy. Between recovering from surgery, school and everyday life high school can get pretty crazy. But my surgery went well, I'm walking again and the swelling has gone down so that is good.


Right now I'm listening to Catherine Kimbro on the radio!!! She is amazing, one of my life long friends and I'm very proud of her. You should go listen to her. :) http://www.myspace.com/catherinekimbro This makes doing my homework (Which I should be doing right now...) a  lot easier while listening to the Bull and Catherine.


Today I felt like my friend Nikki. She is very creative with her outfits and puts things togther that i never would have imagined together and they look great. But i found an old vest that I haven't worn and decided I was going to get an outfit out of it, so i did. :)

Count Your Blessings See What God Hath Done

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We all have so much to be thankful for. :) I myself am very thankful today because I had to have surgery yesterday and all went well. It was on my knee because its been hurting for about three years with little relieve. I've already had one surgery but it didn't help much, so hopefuly this one will make the hurting stop. Turns out I had pinched tissue under the knee cap, so that is probably what was causing so much pain. The worse part of having surgery is that I don't get to go anywhere today and see family. But I get to stay home with my parents and brother, which we have never done, so it will be a great adventure.

I usually do not post at 6:30 in the morning, but because of the pain I couldn't sleep so I figured this would work instead. I would have tried to practice for band but...I didn't think my dad would appreciate being woke up by an oboe, so I'll save that for later. I just got an idea for something to do in a little bit :D this will be fun, I'll try to post them later. Ok, I guess I should attempt to sleep some since I just took some pain pills.

Hope everyone has a GREAT Thanksgiving :) and don't eat too much or you will have to work it off later.

Wow, I'm pretty bad at this writing thing...anyway, this has been a very eventful weekend. I had lots of fun. Yesterday was the Miss Central Scholarship Pageant at my school. I had a lot of fun getting all dressed up and getting my make up done and nails done. Even though I didn't win, it was lots of fun. My friend Erin, won Miss Freshman, and I got Second runner up for the Miss Jounior. Hali got thrid runner up for Miss Central. I was proud of them. This is been a great adventure.

Now on to the next one. On wednesday, I have surgery on my knee. It isn't a major surgery just sorta annoying. Hopefuly its going to be ok. I might be on crutches for a few weeks but hopefully not too bad.

Don't Stop Believin'

Today was a pretty good day, it was a good end to a good week. Lately I have been sorta sad for unknown reasons to even me. But this week I have been really happy. My friends are AH-MAZING!!

My friends Kari and Chelsea from a trip in 8th grade, so its really old.

Anyway, this week we had a band concert that I had a solo on my oboe. And if I do say so myself it went pretty darn well. :) and then we got new music for our christmas concert....SLEIGH RIDE!!! its a tradition at my high school for the top orchestra and top band to play it together. needless to say I'm so excited. So today was my interviews for the Miss Central Scholarship Pageant, that is next week. Hoepfully I did well on the interview because it counts 40% of the total score.

But after the interview I went to Wal-Mart and walked around for an hour while my oil in my car was changed. Oh the joys of having a car. :) I was able to buy my first Christmas present today. Then I came home and chilled. So although it was a pretty lazy day, it was very enjoyable. Tomorrow morning, I'm playing at LPC with my friend Hunter's orchestra he has for his church. So hopefully it will go well.
